There is one upfront price (see below) with no surprise billing months later. After your visit and upon request, Dr. Bri can email you a form called a superbill that you can submit to your insurance provider for out-of-network physical therapy benefits. The billing amount goes towards your deductible.
Superbills are not available for wellness visits as insurance does not provide coverage for wellness care
Optimize is an out-of-network provider that provides care without the constraints of insurance company regulations. We accept payment in the form of cash, check, credit/debit card, HSA (health savings plans), and FSA (flexible spending accounts). This allows us to help provide optimal care while still providing you with resources to use your insurance.

Wellness services are to be used when there is no significant pain or dysfunction that requires skilled hands-on physical therapy. Common examples include: proactive/preventative reasons, increased guidance with progressive strengthening program post discharge from physical therapy, optimizing general health goals!
Wellness services ensure that you continue to make progress and prevent the recurrence of issues, addressing the common problem of relapse when people do not maintain their exercise routines.
Well first off, your lymphatic system is your body’s garbage disposal system. It picks up and gets rid of excess fluid and old proteins. It will also pick up unwanted, harmful substances including virus and bacteria and trigger your immune response. This garbage disposal system is able to do this through routes of lymphatic vessels and lymph nodes.
When this system is slowed or overwhelmed, then you can have signs including fatigue, swelling/bloating/puffiness, decreased immune response, constipation, stiffness, and depression/anxiety.
Lymphatic wellness sessions are to help increase the efficacy of this system and move toxins and inflammation out of the body through use of exercise and manual lymphatic drainage. Mostly everyone can benefit, but there are some exceptions to those are can receive this treatment including those with heart and kidney failure. Those who have significant swelling or have had lymph node removal require lymphatic physical therapy vs wellness.
Lymphatic physical therapy are for those who have altered lymphatic drainage routes or significant swelling. This can be due to surgeries, venous insufficiency, lipedema ( a fat deposition disorder commonly found in women that causes pain and swelling), or congenital.
Sessions for lymphedema include measurement, exercise, manual lymphatic drainage, compression through bandaging or other means, and possible ordering of lymphedema pumps and garments. Although Optimize is out of network, I am able to order lymphedema supplies through your insurance if covered!
Your pelvic floor is the base of your core and serves as an attachment point for the muscles of the stomach, back, and hips and also houses muscles that provide support for organs and function in bowel and bladder function. Due to it’s central location and importance in multiple functions, we can see many symptoms when the pelvic floor is not functioning properly including leaking, pain in pelvis or surrounding areas, pain with penetration, constipation, frequency/urgency, and much more.
In pelvic floor therapy, we assess each joint and muscle group that attaches to the pelvis, your posture, daily habits, and movement patterns, and of course, your pelvic floor! This can be done fully externally or if appropriate, internally.
It is a common misconception that you have to be a female or have had a child to need pelvic floor therapy. Everyone has a pelvic floor and, like every muscle, everyone can have muscular dysfunction.
Call us for a free consultation! We can talk through your goals and current status and determine if we are the right fit. If not, I can help you find who is a better fit for you.
In the state of Missouri, physical therapy services do not need a script until after one month of physical therapy is completed. If you have a script, great! If not, we can still get started.
I do require a script if you have recently had significant surgery or are currently pregnant.
Wellness services never need scripts.
