Common Signs the Floor Needs Support:
Common Signs Flow Is Sluggish:
Your pelvic floor and lymphatic system don’t work in isolation. When the floor isn’t coordinating well, pressure builds. When flow is impaired, inflammation and swelling increase.
Yet many people with symptoms are never properly diagnosed.
Even fewer are referred to pelvic floor physical therapy.
1 in 4 women suffer from pelvic dysfunction.
Because these symptoms are frequently minimized or labeled as “normal,” many individuals go years without answers—or the care that could truly help. Our goal is to close that gap by increasing access, awareness, and education around pelvic floor health.
When lymphatic flow slows, symptoms like bloating, heaviness, swelling, pain, and inflammation can build over time.
10–12% of women have lipedema
— and many don’t even know it.
Your body contains 600–700 lymph nodes, working quietly to filter waste and support healing.
Unlike your heart, the lymphatic system has no pump.
It relies on breathing, movement, and manual stimulation to function properly.
While we do not bill insurance directly, many patients choose to use HSA or FSA cards for eligible services. Some insurance plans may also offer out-of-network reimbursement—though coverage varies.
We’re always happy to provide a detailed receipt (superbill) upon request so you can check with your insurance provider if reimbursement is available.
Optimize is a self-pay, out-of-network practice. This allows us to provide longer, one-on-one sessions without the limitations often required by insurance companies.
All therapy sessions are one-on-one, giving you the time, attention, and level of care that best supports your goals.
This service is designed for individuals experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction or lymphatic conditions, including lymphedema, lipedema, and venous disease.
Each session includes a thorough evaluation of how your body moves and functions, along with individualized treatment tailored to your needs. Care may include manual lymphatic drainage or external and/or internal pelvic floor assessment and treatment, depending on your symptoms and comfort level.
This service is for individuals who do not have a formal diagnosis of lymphedema, lipedema, or venous disease but want to support their lymphatic system and overall wellbeing.

1:1
Unrushed Care
I specialize in pelvic floor and lymphatic therapy under one roof — a niche pairing that allows me to address the root cause of inflammation, swelling, bloating, pelvic pain, and mobility issues. You’re not rushed, you get 1:1 care, and we actually listen to your body’s story.
In Missouri, you can book your initial evaluation without a physician referral. If one becomes necessary for ongoing treatment, I handle the communication with your provider.
YES. Every human has a pelvic floor — men included.
Men can experience pelvic floor tension, urinary leaking, urgency, testicular or groin pain, constipation, tailbone pain, and even sexual dysfunction due to pelvic floor dysfunction. I treat men and women!
It is NEVER too late.
Whether it’s been 6 months… or 26 years… your pelvic floor is made of muscles and connective tissue. Muscles adapt at every age, and we can retrain them.
You don’t have to live with leaking, pressure, or pain just because someone once told you it’s “normal” or “part of aging.” It’s not.
You don’t have to know.
I evaluate both systems because they are highly connected — fluid congestion increases pelvic tension, and pelvic tension restricts lymph flow. We follow your body’s response and choose what works best for you.
Yes. I am trained in lymphatic therapy and work with many clients who have lipedema or suspect they do.
I help reduce pain, inflammation, swelling, and heaviness through gentle manual lymphatic drainage and movement-based flow.
Yes. During sessions, I help measure, select, and guide you through ordering the correct compression (not all compression is appropriate for lipedema). I also help with pneumatic compression pump recommendations and can coordinate with vendors and physicians if needed.
I am an out-of-network provider, which means your treatment plan is based on what you need, not what insurance approves. I provide superbills for reimbursement upon request.
Gentle, calming, 90-minute treatments that support drainage, reduce inflammation, and decrease pain. No machines, no gimmicks — hands-on therapy that supports flow.
Never. It’s an option, not an obligation. We have plenty of external techniques that are just as effective.
Yes — HSA/FSA cards can be used for therapy sessions (and sometimes wellness sessions depending on your plan).
Yes — and wellness sessions make a perfect gift for post-op clients, mamas, and anyone who needs a reset.
Yes. If during a wellness visit you mention a new concern or symptom, we can shift to a therapy session. Your body guides the plan.
You went to your 6 week follow-up postpartum visit and was cleared for “everything,” but don’t feel confident or strong in your movements
You struggle to get your stream started, and when you do you don’t feel like you completely empty and dribble
You have bladder leakage, urinary frequency, urgency, or conditions such as interstitial cystitis
You struggle with constipation or difficulty fully emptying your bladder or bowels
You experience painful periods or ongoing pelvic discomfort throughout your cycle
You have difficulty controlling gas or experience vaginal air trapping
You deal with back pain, hip pain, SI/sacroiliac joint pain, or tailbone pain
You notice bloating, swelling, edema, heaviness, or ongoing inflammation
You’ve been diagnosed with lymphedema, lipedema, venous disease, varicose veins, or spider veins
You bruise easily, feel tenderness or pain in areas that “shouldn’t” hurt, or notice sensitivity—especially in the legs, hips, or abdomen.
You’re pregnant, postpartum, recovering from a C-section, or navigating perimenopause
You have pain with penetration or intercourse
You’ve had cancer treatment, post-surgical changes, or are managing scar tissue
You’re living with autoimmune conditions that affect swelling, pain, or inflammation
Pelvic floor dysfunction and lymphatic issues are far more common than most people realize — and pain, pressure, leakage, swelling, or discomfort are not things you’re meant to “just live with.” These systems influence how your body moves, heals, drains fluid, and manages inflammation. When something feels off, it’s often connected.
You want root-cause care that connects the dots, not quick fixes
You value one-on-one, unrushed sessions focused entirely on you from a provider focused on your goals
While our practice primarily serves women, pelvic floor therapy benefits people of all genders. Dr. Bri is trained to treat individuals of all ages and sexes.
Pelvic floor therapy isn’t just for postpartum—it’s for anyone with a pelvis.
