lymphatic physical therapist
As a Certified Lymphedema Therapist, I treat and manage conditions that can cause swelling; including lymphedema, lipedema, and venous issues. I also educate and promote healthy lymphatic flow for general wellness.
Pelvic Floor Therapist
As a pelvic floor therapist, I can treat specific dysfunctions of the pelvic floor (frequency, urgency, leaking, pain) and musculoskeletal conditions that the pelvic floor effects (low back pain, hip pain, diastasis recti). Pelvic floor therapists are specialists in the core and hip girdle.
The Start
Dr. Bri grew up in North County Saint Louis and attended high school in Saint Charles. At the University of Dayton, she was on the D1 rowing team, worked as an RA, and gained experience at a physical therapy clinic, graduating with a Bachelor’s in Pre-Physical Therapy.
Wanting to be near family, Dr. Bri pursued her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Missouri State University. Her clinical journey started in neurologic and complex rehab, where she earned her Certified Lymphedema Therapist certification. Her interest in lymphedema was driven by her family’s history and experiences with untreated edema.
Dr. Bri honed her skills in an orthopedic, lymphatic, and oncologic setting, becoming certified in the Strength After Breast Cancer program. She expanded her expertise to pelvic physical therapy, inspired by her observations of cancer survivors and her personal journey. She has achieved certification in internal pelvic floor examination and treatment.

The Transition
The Transition
The Transition
Despite her love for both of these experiences, she felt like there was a missing piece limiting her patient’s potential for progress. She felt like she was unable to truly listen to her patients and provide to them the individual care that they would benefit from. She did not want her practice to be measured by the number of patients she could see in a day, but instead measured by how much improvement her patients had and how confident they felt. She also saw many people falling through the cracks due to insurance limitations and pressure to standardize treatments to increase turn-over.

Fun Facts
When not expanding the reach of lymphatic and pelvic care, Dr. Bri enjoys taking her lab, Mrs. Butters, on walks and hikes. She also enjoys staying active in the gym and outside, more specifically by any body of water. She has been trying to renovate her house slowly but surely and says that one day she will have a garden and landscaping.
She likes reading research articles in her specialty areas, but will also read fictional suspense novels. Her goals are to expand her pelvic practice to include rectal examination, attend more seminars on fat and lymphatic disorders, and see the Northern Lights either in Alaska or Norway.
